What IS a Treasury, anyway??

Treasuries are fun. Period. They're fun to put together and fun to look at and fun to find your stuff included in. For those of you who don't know what Treasuries are: They are collections of Etsy items which are curated by members and put out there for others to enjoy. Sometimes the items are grouped by color, sometimes everything fits a theme, sometimes they are just a nice selection of someone's favorite items - but they are always cool in one way or another. Want to check out some Etsy treasury collections?? Click here to go to the Treasury Main on the Etsy site. You can also check out Treasury East and Treasury West. With so many choices, it's hard to imagine that you wouldn't find something from your shop in a treasury every day but that is not the case. It's a great honor to be included in a treasury! Here are some treasuries I found "myself" in recently:

A vintage Weiss strawberry pin from my vintage shop was featured in this tasty treasury called Strawberry Temptation.
It was curated by vintageboxofdelights - be sure to stop by to visit their shop. It truly is a vintage box of delights!! I would like my strawberries served on this sweet cake stand, please :)

"Ethereal Ephemera", curated by angellacedesigns, featured some sweet children's scissors from my vintage shop.

Finally, here is a very pretty collection put together by an Isreali jewelry artist whose shop is called Hagarae. This collection is called "4818" which is the number of Etsy items that contain the word "ROSES" in their title! I'm glad she picked the cute tapestry purse from my vintage shop out of all those choices!

She has some of the most unique jewelry in her shop! She calls her technique "fabric origami" and they really are cool! Please be sure to stop by and take a look. Here is one of my favorites -Sculptured Origami Fiber Pendant
